James Blagden began his career as an illustrator and moved into animation with the experimental short “Dock Ellis & The LSD No-No” (Sundance 2010). His work as an animator and director has been featured in commercial campaigns for Reebok and Apple, and documentaries including “Beats Rhymes & Life, The Travels of a Tribe Called Quest” and ESPN’s 30 for 30 “Straight Outta LA.” In 2015, his second short “Best Last Best Plane Ride Ever” premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival. Midnight in Paris is his first feature length project.
