What is a DocYard Season Pass and how does it work?

The DocYard will be presenting films in a hybrid format for passholders only this upcoming season. As long as it is safe to do so, we will present films at the Brattle Theatre, and we’re happy to still provide a virtual option for our season passholders. A DocYard Season Pass gives you access to our full line-up of groundbreaking nonfiction cinema, plus a passholder perk of a FREE DocYard tote bag and one free popcorn at in-person screenings at The Brattle! The Spring 2022 season will include 8 feature-length documentary programs – all shown in-person at the Brattle and a virtual window of films for a limited period of time for passholders.

Frequently Asked Questions

The Spring 2022 season is hybrid only for season passholders. Films will have in-person screenings at the Brattle with tickets available to the general public. Passholders will receive separate information on how to watch films virtually if they are not able to attend an in-person screening. Links to purchase tickets can be found on individual screening pages or on the Brattle’s website.

Passholders will receive instructions from the DocYard Series Producer on how to access films virtually. If you do not receive communication from the Series Producer, reach out to kayla@lef-foundation.org or docyard@lef-foundation.org!

We’re so glad to continue to be able to provide passholders with a virtual watch option! Passholders will receive more specific information on the virtual windows to watch films. However, films will not be available to watch after the set time period due to the DocYard respecting the wishes of filmmakers and distributors.

Absolutely! Email us at docyard@lef-foundation.org, along with a copy of your Student ID, and we’ll provide you with a code to purchase a pass at a discounted price.

All films of the DocYard are screened at our venue partner – the Brattle Theatre in Cambridge. The Brattle currently requires all attendees of screenings to be fully vaccinated or have received a negative test result within the past 72 hours. For more information on their COVID requirements and what to expect when you attend a screening, visit their website
