Important Message on COVID-19

Dear DocYard Community, We take the health and safety of our community very seriously. In light of the growing COVID-19 outbreak in the US, we have decided to postpone all of our upcoming screenings for the remainder of the DocYard season through the end of May. We will be exploring booking new dates for the screenings that have now been postponed due to this public health emergency, and will keep you updated about that.

As a reminder, any ticket-holder who bought a ticket in advance for a single DocYard screening is able to change their ticket at no fee to any future screening for the DocYard or the Brattle’s repertory programming by contacting the Brattle box officeFor DocYard Pass-holders: Spring 2020 DocYard season pass-holders will be able to gain free admission to any re-scheduled Spring 2020 DocYard screenings, and we’ll be offering a discounted pass for the DocYard’s next season. Your continued support as a pass-holder is vital to our mission of fostering a vibrant filmmaking community. We encourage you to consider other ways to support local independent theaters and local businesses through these difficult times, even if home-bound. If you wish to support our venue partner at the Brattle Theatre, learn more about making a donationpurchasing a gift card, or purchasing a Brattle membership

We encourage our local audience members and supporters to consider what steps they can also take, through private and public event cancellations, social distancing and frequent hand-washing, to effectively slow the spread of this new coronavirus. You can read the Brattle Theatre’s statement on COVID-19 here. Please continue to follow daily alerts and recommendations from the Massachusetts Department of Public Health, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Thank you for your continued support and understanding. We hope you all will stay safe in the weeks ahead, and we will look forward to seeing you again soon!
