Adam Roffman has been a member of IATSE Local 481 since 1998. He works primarily as an On-Set Dresser and has worked on approximately 60 features and television programs. I have also directed two short documentaries that have premiered at the SXSW Film Festival, produced three features that premiered at SXSW, produced another that premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival, and produced one other that aired on PBS’s American Masters.
In addition to my film work, I was one of the founders of the Independent Film Festival Boston and was its Program Director from 2003-to 2013. He now serves on the festival’s Board of Directors and helps in an advisory capacity.
The DocYard is an award-winning film and discussion series at the Brattle Theatre in Cambridge, and which also sponsors special screenings and co-presentations throughout the year. Each screening is a new experience as we connect audiences directly with filmmakers exploring the documentary form through insightful post-screening discussions.
